Association Health Plan

The South Carolina Manufacturers Alliance Health Plan is a statewide association plan that offers benefits and rates that are exclusive to manufacturers. This gives companies greater flexibility in offering benefit options to your employees. Coordinated by Gibson & Associates, the plan is available to manufacturers through Carolina Care Plan.

Since its inception in 2001, the SCMA Health Plan has saved employers an average of 38%. The annual increases of 3% to 5% each year, versus the state average of 15-18%, have enabled us to control costs over a long period of time. Currently, there are more than 200 member companies, 4,300+ employees and 12,000+ total members enrolled.
